OL2002: Folders That You Moved to the Trash in the Lotus Notes R5 Client Still Appear in the Outlook 2002 Connector (331785)

SYMPTOMS

If you move a folder to the Trash by using the Move Folder action in the Lotus Notes R5 client, exit the Lotus Notes R5 client, and then access the Lotus Notes R5 account by using the Microsoft Outlook 2002 Connector, the folder that you moved still appears in the Outlook 2002 Connector.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this behavior, use the Delete Folder action when you delete a folder in the Lotus Notes client. To do this:
  1. Select the folder that you want to delete.
  2. Click Actions, click Folder Options, and then click Delete Folder.
  3. Click Yes when you receive the prompt to permanently delete the folder.

MORE INFORMATION

To work around this behavior, delete the folder in the Outlook 2002 Connector. To do this, select the folder, and then press SHIFT+DELETE to permanently delete the folder.
