SUMMARY

The following are known issues in the documentation and Help files in Microsoft Combat Flight Simulator 3:
  • Quick Reference Card

The Quick Reference Card incorrectly assigns the yaw right (rudder) action to the ENTER key on the numeric keypad. To yaw right, press the 3 key on the numeric keypad.
  • Getting Started Right

The "Getting Started Right" booklet incorrectly refers to the Flight Recorder function. The Flight Recorder function is not available in Combat Flight Simulator 3.
  • Microsoft Internet Explorer Issues

The air combat maneuver training movies that are a component of Combat Flight Simulator Help do not play if Internet Explorer 4.0 is installed on your computer. These movies may also not play on some Microsoft Windows 98-based computers on which Internet Explorer 5.0 is installed.

To work around this issue, upgrade to Internet Explorer 5.5 or later. For more information about how to obtain and install the latest version of Internet Explorer, visit the following Microsoft Web site:
  • Training Video Does Not Play

A security update in Microsoft Windows Media Player 9 prevents the playback of "Training Videos" in the Help section.
