Swedish Internet Explorer 6 appends an incorrect suffix to the Address line (331485)

This article was previously published under Q331485 SYMPTOMSWhen you press CTRL+ENTER in the Address line of the Swedish version of Microsoft Internet Explorer 6 Service Pack 1 (SP1), Internet Explorer automatically adds .sv instead of .se to the Address line.
For example, if you type microsoft in the Address line of Internet Explorer, and then press CTRL+ENTER, the Address line changes to http://www.microsoft.sv instead of http://www.microsoft.se.RESOLUTIONA supported hotfix is now available from Microsoft, but it is only intended to correct the problem that is described in this article. Only apply it to systems that are experiencing this specific problem. This hotfix may receive additional testing. Therefore, if you are not severely affected by this problem, we recommend that you wait for the next Internet Explorer 6 service pack that contains this hotfix.
