SYMPTOMS
If you create an outline code and add a description to your
code, the description will not be displayed in the
picklist (drop-down list) next to the code ID. For example:
- In a new project, enter a task (T1).
- Insert the Outline Code 1 field.
- Customize the field, and then define the Outline
Code.
- Create a mask of characters of any length.
- Edit the Lookup Table.
- Add a code, and then type some text for the description.
Click Close, and then click OK two
times.
- Back in the table, select the picklist.
In the picklist, the code value is displayed but the
corresponding code description is not .
RESOLUTION
Service Pack Information
This problem is corrected in Project 2002 Service Pack 1.
