This article was previously published under Q330584

SYMPTOMS

Microsoft BizTalk Accelerator for HIPAA version 1.0 may serialize some fields of your document when these fields do not exist in the inbound document. Also, the value for these incorrectly serialized fields is set to 0.

WORKAROUND

In BizTalk Server 2000 and BizTalk Server 2002, create a custom Application Integration Component (AIC) that removes the incorrectly serialized fields from your document before the document is sent to the destination.
