SYMPTOMS

When you schedule a meeting by using Microsoft Web Scheduler or Microsoft Outlook, two listings for the same meeting may appear in the Exchange 2000 Conferencing Manager Web interface (List.asp).

CAUSE

This problem may occur if you have multiple conferencing sites installed and there are network problems that affect the Conference Management service (CMS). This problem occurs when connectivity problems between the active CMS and the backup CMS cause an automatic failover. As a result, both the active and the backup CMS register the meeting.
