Members of the Power Users group cannot manage or print to a redirected printer from a Terminal Services session to a Windows 2000-based computer (330319)

SYMPTOMS

After you apply the hotfix that is documented in Microsoft Knowledge Base (KB) article 328020 to a Microsoft Windows 2000-based computer that is running Terminal Services, you may find that members of the Power Users group can view redirected printers from a Terminal Services session but cannot manage or print to the redirected printers from a Terminal Services session.

CAUSE

This problem occurs because, after you apply the KB328020 hotfix, the Power Users group is removed from the list of users and groups that have permissions to redirected printers in Windows 2000.
