Method 1: Disable Script Blocking in Norton AntiVirusWarning This workaround may make your computer or your network more vulnerable to attack by malicious users or by malicious software such as viruses. We do not recommend this workaround but are providing this information so that you can implement this workaround at your own discretion. Use this workaround at your own risk. In Norton AntiVirus, turn off the "Enable script blocking" feature.

To disable New-Mail notifications, follow these steps:
- In Outlook, click Options on the Tools menu, and then click the Preferences tab.
- Click E-mail Options, and then click to clear the Display a notification message when new mail arrives check box.
- Click OK two times.
