WORKAROUND

When you compose the item to be posted in Outlook, select the address for the From field from the global address list (GAL) instead of typing it. The From field of the item is then displayed correctly when viewed with the XOVER command. When you clear the Automatic name checking check box under Advanced E-mail Options in Outlook, the posted item is correctly recognized by XOVER.

Note To locate Advanced E-mail Options, on the Tools menu, click Options, click the Preferences tab, and the click E-mail Options.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.
