MORE INFORMATION

Outlook Stops Responding (Hangs) After You Insert an Ink Object

After you insert an ink object into an Outlook task, contact, or appointment, tap outside the Outlook window while the canvas is still active, and then tap the canvas, Outlook may stop responding.

To resolve this issue, deactivate the ink canvas, and then tap outside the Outlook window.

Size of E-Mail Messages with Embedded Objects Doubles

The size of messages that are composed in Outlook 2002 that contain embedded objects may double if Microsoft Word is configured as the default e-mail editor, and the e-mail message is AutoSaved during composition.

This issue most typically occurs when you use the Office XP Pack for the Tablet PC to send and receive ink e-mail, because the ink is an embedded object in the e-mail message.
