SYMPTOMS

If a program issues multiple paged queries to Active Directory on the same connection (such as with a multithreaded program), and a paged query is run before the last page of the first query is requested, the second query replaces the paged cookie on the connection. The call by the first query to return the next page of the query does not then work, and generates the following error message:
00000057: LdapErr: DSID-0C090591, comment: Error processing control, data 0, v893

CAUSE

Currently, a client can have only one outstanding paged search at a time per connection. If the client tries to start another query, some of the context information from the first search is removed.
