SUMMARY

If the program that calls a COMTI method has not been written to set the the recordset to the first record after receiving the data from the COMTI method, when you change to a different Microsoft Data Access Components (MDAC) level, a COMTI method that returns a disconnected recordset may not succeed.

The calling program must set the recordset object to the first record before working with the recordset. You can specify this by using the .MoveFirst method on the recordset.
