This article was previously published under Q329433 SYMPTOMSThe CryptoAPI chaining engine in the Windows operating systems that are listed in the "Applies To" section of this article incorrectly selects a revoked certificate if a certification authority (CA) in the chain has two certificates (one active and the other revoked). The chaining engine should select the active certificate instead of the revoked certificate.
Also, there is another issue with the Undefined nameConstraints extension.
