SYMPTOMS
When you mark items for deletion in Microsoft Outlook 2002 while you are working in offline mode, quit Outlook 2002, and then you restart Outlook 2002 to work online, you receive the following error message:
There was an error in synchronizing your offline changes. Some of
the offline changes made since the last time you connected to the server may
have been lost."
Details: IMAP Account A folder in which you made changes
may have been moved or deleted or Outlook may have encountered network or
server problems.
Protocol: IMAP
Server: asb2k000.ameca.panorg.com
Port: 143
If you connect to your IMAP server after you receive the error message, all the items that you had marked for deletion are no longer selected.
RESOLUTION
Service Pack Information
This problem is corrected in Office XP Service Pack 3.
