WD2000: Error When You Download Clip Art from the Design Gallery Live Web Site (329373)

SYMPTOMS

When you try to download clip art from the Design Gallery Live Web site, you may receive a message that is similar to the following:
Could not open file C:\documents and settings\user profile\local settings\Temporary Internet Files\Content.IE5....

CAUSE

This issue may occur if the Temporary Internet Files folder is too full.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this issue, delete files from the Temporary Internet Files folder. To do this, follow these steps:
  1. Start Microsoft Internet Explorer.
  2. On the Tools menu, click Internet Options.
  3. Click the General tab.
  4. Under Temporary Internet files, click Delete Files, and then click OK.

This can occur on a computer that runs any Microsoft Windows operating system and that has Internet Explorer installed.

To increase the cache size, follow these steps:

  1. Start Internet Explorer.
  2. On the Tools menu, click Internet Options.
  3. On the General tab, click Settings.
  4. Under Amount of disk space to use, drag the slider to the right to increase disk space that you allocate to the Temporary Internet Files folder.
