OL2000: Error Message: "There Was An Error When Printing Started" When You Print Your Calendar (329348)

SYMPTOMS

When you try to print your calendar in Outlook 2000, the calendar is not printed, and you receive the following error message:
There was an error when printing started. To check the printer setup, double-click the Printers icon in Windows Control Panel.

CAUSE

This problem may occur when you use one of the following printer drivers:
  • Xerox Document Centre 420 PS
  • Xerox Document Centre 440 PS

RESOLUTION

A supported hotfix is now available from Microsoft, but it is only intended to correct the problem that is described in this article. Only apply it to systems that are experiencing this specific problem. This hotfix may receive additional testing. Therefore, if you are not severely affected by this problem, we recommend that you wait for the next Microsoft Office 2000 service pack that contains this hotfix.

To resolve this problem immediately, contact Microsoft Product Support Services to obtain the fix.
