XADM: You Receive the Exchange 2000 NDR Instead of the Custom NDR (329311)

This article was previously published under Q329311 SYMPTOMS After you configure Exchange 2000 to use a custom
non-delivery report (NDR), Exchange users who send non-deliverable mail may not
receive the custom non-delivery report. Instead, Exchange users who send
non-deliverable mail may receive a standard NDR that is similar to the
following: Your message did not reach some or all of the
intended recipients.

Sent: Date sent
The following recipient(s)
could not be
reached:
username@domain.com
on Date sent The e-mail account does not exist
at the organization this message was sent to. Check the e-mail address, or
contact the recipient directly to find out the correct
address. STATUS Microsoft
has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed
at the beginning of this article.
