XADM: Exchange 2000 Does Not Add NNTP Sender Headers (329296)

SYMPTOMS

When you use Network News Transfer Protocol (NNTP) to post a message, the Sender header is not included in the header information. In previous versions of Exchange, the Sender header is included in the NNTP header information.

Note The From header is included in the NNTP header information.

CAUSE

This issue occurs because Exchange 2000 does not include the Sender Header in the NNTP header information.

STATUS

This behavior is by design.
