SYMPTOMS

Your custom button settings on your mouse may stop working. The custom settings initially work correctly, but they may later stop working correctly. Although you may resolve this symptom after you restart your computer, the symptom may reoccur.

CAUSE

This behavior may occur if a conflict exists between your screensaver and the Microsoft IntelliPoint software.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this issue, download and install the latest version of IntelliPoint. For information about how to do so, visit the following Microsoft Web site:
