Outlook 2000 Send/Receive Progress dialog box appears unexpectedly (327907)

SYMPTOMS

The Outlook Send/Receive Progress dialog box appears every time during a send/receive, even if you have selected the Don't show this dialog box during Send/Receive option.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this issue, follow these steps:
  1. If the status bar is hidden, click Status Bar on the View menu to show it.
  2. Press F9 (Send and Receive All).

    The Outlook Send/Receive Progress dialog box no longer appears, and the status bar displays an abbreviated status of the send/receive.
  3. To see the details of the send/receive in the Outlook Send/Receive Progress dialog box, click Send/Receive Status in the status bar, and then click Details.
