PRB: Error Messages When You Open Retail2002 Site in Visual Studio .NET (327806)

SYMPTOMS

When you unpackage the Retail2002 site, and then open Retail2002.sln in Microsoft Visual Studio .NET, as is suggested in the online document, you receive error messages that references are not added properly and that there is an error using the form designer.

CAUSE

This behavior occurs because the assemblies are not built yet.

RESOLUTION

To avoid this problem, build the solution one time so that the run time assemblies are created.

STATUS

This behavior is by design.
