Force Feedback Pro: The Forces Tab Does Not Appear in the Game Controllers Dialog Box (327227)

SYMPTOMS

When you click Game Controllers in Control Panel, there may not be a Forces tab on the Game Controllers dialog box, and there may not be any other commands that allow you to turn on (enable), turn off (disable), or configure the feedback forces.

The stick movement and control buttons all work as expected.

CAUSE

This behavior occurs because the Game Controllers dialog box in Windows XP Control Panel does not contain a Forces tab.

RESOLUTION

To test the forces function, use the controller in a game that supports forces through direct input.
