Session Summary
During this Support WebCast, you will learn the basics
of Windows 32-bit symbolic debugging. Aimed at the entry-level debugging
student, this talk will introduce the concepts, tools, strategies, and
techniques associated with debugging Win32 applications using the symbols for
the problem application, and for the operating system. Through brief examples,
you will see the range of tools, what they look like, and how they operate. You
will also see what information you can produce, and how that information can be
used to resolve software issues.

Dowds. Brian Dowds is a Microsoft VC++ Developer Support Professional and has
been with Microsoft for more than five years. He is an instructor on the
subject of Win32 user-mode debugging, and has developed and delivered symbolic
debugging technical talks to Microsoft internal, partner, and customer
audiences during the last three years.
