SYMPTOMS

You may receive the following Stop error message:
STOP: 0x000000d6 (0xbe7e1000, 0x00000000, 0xa008f608, 0x00000000) WIN32K.SYS
DRIVER_PAGE_FAULT_BEYOND_END_OF_ALLOCATION

Arg1: memory referenced
Arg2: value 0 = read operation, 1 = write operation
Arg3: if non-zero, the address which referenced memory.
Arg4: Mm internal code.
NOTE: The four parameters that are listed in parentheses (()) in this error message vary according to the configuration that you are using.

CAUSE

If you try to copy a block of data from the Clipboard, Windows may not correctly calculate the size of the buffer that must be available to hold the data.
