XCCC: "HTTP Error 403 Forbidden" Error Message When You Try to View E-mail with Outlook Web Access (OWA) (326856)

If you try to access your mailbox by using Microsoft Outlook Web Access (OWA), you may receive the following error message:
HTTP 403 (Forbidden) You are not authorized to view this page.
CAUSE
This issue may occur if the default documents and Internet Server API (ISAPI) filters are either missing or improperly configured.
RESOLUTION
To resolve this issue, reconfigure the settings for the default Web site. To do so, follow these steps:
- Click Start, point to Programs, point to Administrative Tools, and then click Internet Services Manager.
- Right-click Default Web Site, and then click Properties.
- Click Documents, and then click Add.
- Type default.asp, and then click OK.
- Click the ISAPI Filters tab, and then click Add.
- In the Filter Name box, type microsoft exchange web component.
- In the Executable box, type drive:\winnt\system32\exchfilt.dll (where drive is the drive on which Windows is installed), and then click OK.
- Click OK.
- In the right pane, right-click the Exchange virtual directory, and then click Properties.
- Click Documents, and then click Add.
- Type default.asp, and then click OK.
- Click OK.
