SYMPTOMS

Stopping and restarting the BizTalk Messaging Service may not reset the BizTalk Server Performance Monitor counters for Documents Received and Documents Processed.

A supported fix is now available from Microsoft, but it is only intended to correct the problem that is described in this article. Apply it only to computers that are experiencing this specific problem. This fix may receive additional testing. NOTES: For each computer that is running BizTalk Server and for each database group, Btm_priorityupgrade.sql must be executed against the BizTalk InterchangeBTM database, and Sq_priorityupgrade.sql must be executed against the BizTalk InterchangeSQ database. To do this, you must use the SQL Query Analyzer to execute the stored procedures against the affected BizTalk databases.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in BizTalk Server 2002.
This problem was first corrected in Microsoft BizTalk Server 2002 Service Pack 1.
