BUG: File Attachment May Become a Part of the Message Body (326657)

This article was previously published under Q326657 SYMPTOMS If you paste a file in the Subject line of your Pocket PC
device, file attachments may disappear, and then additional characters may be
added to the body of an e-mail message. RESOLUTION To add an attachment to an e-mail message, use the
Add Attachment option on the Edit menu in the
Pocket PC device Inbox. To do so, follow these steps:
- Open a new e-mail message. Or, reply to an existing e-mail
message.
- Tap Edit, and then select Add
Attachment.
- Locate the file that you want, and then tap the file name
to select the file.
- Send the e-mail message.
STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed that this is a bug in the Microsoft
products that are listed at the beginning of this article.
