Changes in COMTI Regions (TOR or AOR) Cause Some COMTI Applications to Not Work (326649)

SYMPTOMS
After you upgrade COM Transaction Integrator (COMTI) to SNA Server
version 4.0 Service Pack (SP) 4 or to Host Integration Server 2000,
COMTI applications that use Customer Information Control System (CICS)
LINK over logical unit (LU) 6.2 with SNA Server 4.0 SP 3 or earlier may
not communicate correctly with the host transaction program.
CAUSE
On a mainframe computer that has CICS installed, terminals that are
connected to one CICS region (a Terminal Owning Region [TOR]) can run
transactions on another CICS region (an Application Owning Region
[AOR]).
With versions earlier than SNA Server 4.0 SP 4, if the program that is
being called is to be run in an AOR, COMTI always passes the default
CICS mirror transaction ID to the AOR.
In SNA Server 4.0 SP 4 and Host Integration Server 2000, COMTI always
passes the Source TP Name that is on the Host Names tab of the Method
Properties in the COMTI Component Builder as the mirror transaction ID
that is to be used by the AOR.
Because of this change, COMTI applications that rely on COMTI to pass
the default CICS mirror transaction ID to the AOR do not work correctly
after COMTI is upgraded to SNA Server 4.0 SP 4 or to Host Integration
Server 2000.
