SYMPTOMS

When you try to resume your Microsoft Windows 2000 Service Pack 3 (SP3)-based computer from standby, the system stops responding (hangs).

CAUSE

This problem occurs if your Windows 2000 SP3-based computer has version 1.0 of the driver for the Schlumberger Reflex USB card reader installed.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this problem, install version 2.1 or a later version of the driver for the Schlumberger Reflex USB card reader. For more information about the latest version of this driver, visit the following Axalto Reflex Web site:
