WORKAROUND
Remove any SQL Server 7.0 service pack so that you use SQL Server 7.0 SP2. If you run the CMS DCA using SQL Server 7.0 SP2, you do not receive the error message that is described in the "Symptoms" section. As soon as you have run the CMS DCA, reinstall your SQL Server 7.0 service pack that is later than SP2.
NOTE: You must use this workaround every time you run the CMS DCA. Therefore, Microsoft strongly recommends that you use the fix instead of the workaround.
STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed that this Is a problem In the Microsoft products that are listed In the "Applies To" section.
This problem was corrected in Content Management Server 2002 Service Pack 1.
