template. With a customized title master, you can create presentations in which
the title page contains a different layout, including different graphics, than
all the other slides in your presentation.

Create a New Slide Master- Create a new, blank presentation.
- On the View menu, click Master, and then click Slide Master.
- On the Format menu, click Background.
- Under Background fill, click the arrow,
and then click Fill Effects.
- Click the Picture tab, click Select Picture, locate the picture that you want to insert, click the picture,
and then click Insert.
This inserts the picture that forms the background of
all your slides other than the title slide. - Click OK, and then click Apply.

Create a New Title Master- On the Insert menu, click New Title Master.
- On the Format menu, click Background.
- Under Background fill, click the arrow,
and then click Fill Effects.
- Click the Picture tab, click Select Picture, locate the picture that you want to insert, click the picture,
and then click Insert.
This inserts the background picture for your title
slide. - Click OK, and then click Apply.
- On the File menu, click Save As.
- In the Save as type box, click Design Template (*.pot), type the
file name in the File name box, and then click Save.
- On the View menu, click Normal, and then create your presentation.
