When you run Exchange 2000, the following error message may
be logged:

Description:
Generation of the offline Address Book is complete. Result:
The MAPI call failed. MAPI or an unspecified service provider. ID no:
80004005-0000-00000000
You may also receive other MAPI related
errors. After this event occurs, you cannot run the Admin program on the
server, although you can run the Admin program remotely. You also cannot run
ExMerge on the server, and offline Address Book generation fails. Antivirus
software that uses MAPI may also be affected.
RESOLUTION
Cumulative Patch Information
To resolve this problem, obtain the March 2003 Exchange 2000
Server Post-Service Pack 3 (SP3) Rollup.
