XADM: The FROM Field Is Blank When You Synchronize E-mail with a PDA (326325)
The information in this article applies to:
- Microsoft Exchange 2000 Server
This article was previously published under Q326325 SUMMARYWhen you use Microsoft Mobile Information Server 2002 with
Server ActiveSync to synchronize a message between a personal digital assistant
(PDA) and Exchange 2000, if the display name includes a comma, the FROM field
appears blank in the list view and displays two addresses in the read
view. This behavior occurs because the comma was changed internally
into a semicolon. The semicolon is an address separator. Cumulative Patch InformationTo resolve this problem, obtain the March 2003 Exchange 2000 Server Post-Service Pack 3 (SP3) Rollup.
