PRB: File Corruption When Rollback and Transactions Option Is Disabled in Content Replication Service (326133)

When you publish content from a source folder to a destination folder on a local computer, the files in the destination folder may be corrupted or may contain irregularities if the source file is modified, and the modified file size is smaller than the original file.
CAUSE
This can occur when the Enable rollback and transactions option is turned off in Content Replication Service.
RESOLUTION
Turn on the Enable rollback and transactions option in Content Replication Service. To do this, follow these steps: - Click Start, point to Programs, click Microsoft Site Server, and then click Administration.
- Click Site Server Admin (MMC), and then expand Publishing.
- Right-click the server, and then click Properties.
- Click the Advanced tab, and then click to select the Enable rollback and transactions check box.
