Web Page Wizard opens a blank document in Word 2002 (325914)

When you try to run the Web Page Wizard, the Web Page Wizard does not start. A new blank document opens instead. (To try to start the Web Page Wizard, you click General Templates in the New Document task pane, and then you click the Web Pages tab.)
CAUSE
This behavior occurs if all of the following conditions are true:
- You have Microsoft Word 2002 installed.
- In the Microsoft Office XP Language Settings, you have set the default version of Office to something other then English (U.S.).
- You never had Microsoft Office 2000 previously installed on your computer.
WORKAROUND
To work around this problem, change the default version of Microsoft Office to English (U.S.). To do this, follow these steps:
- Click Start, point to Programs, point to Microsoft Office Tools, and then click Microsoft Office XP Language Settings.
- On the Enabled Languages tab, change the Default version of Microsoft Office box to English (U.S.), and then click OK.
- When you are prompted to quit and restart all Office programs that are running, click Yes.
STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed in the "Applies to" section.
