PSRV2002: Microsoft Project Web Access Web Pages Are Wider Than Expected (325844)

SYMPTOMS

When you view your project in Microsoft Project Web Access, some Web pages may appear wider than expected in your browser window.

CAUSE

This behavior may occur if the name of your project file contains one or more words that use 60 or more characters. The width of the Web page may increase to fit the long word that is in the file name. As a result, certain pages in Microsoft Project Web Access appear wider than expected.

WORKAROUND

To work around this issue, use fewer than 60 characters for each word in the name of your project file.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.
