Web components are static after you install Publisher 2002 (325834)

SYMPTOMS

When you install Microsoft Publisher 2002 on a computer on which Microsoft Office XP Web Components are installed in design-time and run-time interactive mode (in which the displayed content of the components can be modified), the Web Components degrade into run-time static mode (in which the displayed contents cannot be modified and are read-only) until you use the Publisher 2002 Activation Wizard.

WORKAROUND

To resolve this issue, you can either type the Product Identifier (PID) when you are prompted for it, or you can use the Publisher 2002 Activation Wizard.
