The Modem Country Code May Not Match the Telephony Location (325801)

SYMPTOMS

The modem country code that is reported on the Advanced tab in a modem's properties in Device Manager may not match the country code for the current telephony location. This problem may occur if the country from which the modem is dialing is a country other than the United States of America.

RESOLUTION

The English version of this fix has the file attributes (or later) that are listed in the following table. The dates and times for these files are listed in coordinated universal time (UTC). When you view the file information, it is converted to local time. To find the difference between UTC and local time, use the Time Zone tab in the Date and Time tool in Control Panel.

STATUS
