SYMPTOMS

When you start the Microsoft Operations Manager (MOM) Administrator console, the following events may appear in the system event log:Source: DCOM

Type: Error
Computer: Data Access Server/Consolidator-Agent Manager computer name

CAUSE

This problem may occur if the MOM 2000 Data Access Server/Consolidator-Agent Manager (DCAM) and the MOM 2000 database components are located on separate computers.
