SYMPTOMS

If you start your computer after you have completely shut it down, your keyboard is not detected, or the settings for your keyboard are not saved.

If you do not completely shut down your computer before you restart it, this problem may not occur.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this issue, enable Universal Serial Bus (USB) keyboard support or Legacy USB support in your system Basic Input Output System (BIOS), and then connect your keyboard to the USB port only.
