This presentation discusses the fundamentals of the Windows 2000 Cluster service, including Setup and basic administration of a Windows 2000 cluster. Included is a discussion of new features in Windows 2000 as related to clustering, and a discussion of specific requirements of the Cluster service.

This is a Level 100 session. It was presented by Hannes Sehestedt. Hannes Sehestedt has been with Microsoft since the launch date of Windows 3.1 (April 6, 1992). He has been a Product Support Services member in the Windows operating system series of products including Microsoft Windows 3.0, Microsoft Windows 3.1, Microsoft Windows for Workgroups, Microsoft Windows NT, and Microsoft BackOffice Small Business Server. Most recently, he has focused on Windows 2000 Advanced Server Beta support.
