Session Summary



This session will introduce the new user management features like the Microsoft Management Console (MMC), organizational unit , and remote administration/shadowing with Terminal Services, and how these pieces fit into the Windows 2000 enterprise. The discussion will also cover new user groups such as the Universal Group, Schema Administrators, and Enterprise Administrators (Enterprise Admins), and how to delegate authority to other groups.

This is a Level 100 session that was recorded March 2, 2000 and presented by Sean Pirtle. Sean Pirtle is currently a Support Professional in the Microsoft Platforms Support (MPS)/Premier Domains organization. He has been involved in the computer industry for nearly eight years, and has spent the last year specializing in Windows 2000 Security, the Active Directory, and Group Policy.
