Session Summary



The Office Web Components are a set of COM controls that provide a vehicle for interactive spreadsheet modeling, data analysis and data reporting. The library consists of four main components: a Spreadsheet component, a Data Source component, a Chart component and a PivotTable component. This session provides a brief overview of component features and discusses how to program these components with VBScript and ASP.

This is a Level 200 session that was recorded April 6, 2000 and presented by Harsha Bennur and Lori Turner. Harsha has been with Microsoft Developer Support for over one year and specializes in integrating Office technologies with custom solutions. She joined Microsoft after graduating from the University of Central Florida with a Masters degree in Computer Science. Lori is also a member of the Microsoft Developer Support team that specializes in Office integration. She has worked with Microsoft since 1993 and has a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science.
