This article was previously published under Q325340

SYMPTOMS

When you type a few letters of an e-mail address in one of the address fields of a message, Microsoft Outlook Express automatically completes the e-mail address with an entry from your Address Book. The same action does not automatically complete the address in Microsoft Outlook 2000.

CAUSE

Outlook 2000 does not contain this feature.

WORKAROUND

To match e-mail addresses that you type with your Address Book entries in Outlook 2000, use the Check Name feature.
