In this session, you will learn the basics of Windows Management Instrumentation (WMI) and how Systems Management Server 2.0 uses WMI. You will also learn how to troubleshoot problems with WMI for SMS access.

This is a Level 200 session that was recorded September 26, 2000 and presented by Wally Mead. Wally Mead joined Microsoft over eight years ago in the training group. He now works for Product Support Services, developing and delivering training focused on SMS 2.0 to the Support Professionals. During his time at Microsoft, Wally has developed training materials for all versions of SMS.
