Session Summary

This Support WebCast will cover the XML capabilities of Microsoft Data Access Components 2.5 and the various development methods available for XML integration into your data access applications. This session assumes that you have some familiarity with XML and MDAC technologies. The core of this discussion will revolve around how ADO and OLEDB fetch data from underlying data stores, how the XML is formed with the XML-persistent format, and what you can ultimately do with this data.

This is a Level 300 session that was recorded November 30, 1999 and presented by Eric Schmidt. Eric Schmidt is a Technical Lead in the Developer Support Data Access Group. Eric's main focus is working with development on the future versions of MDAC and working with customers who have development issues. He has worked at Microsoft for about two years and was previously a Development Manager for a large health care organization.
