In this session, we will discuss WINS, what's new in WINS, and where various functions went. The session will also cover the new features in WINS and how to accomplish many of the tasks that you used to do in Windows NT 4.0.

This is a Level 200 session that was recorded November 16, 1999 and presented by Brennan Crowe and Bill Baxter. Brennan is an MCSE and Support Professional and has been with the Microsoft Platforms Support - Professional IP/RAS Team for over two years. Previous to that, Brennan worked for an ISP helping people connect to the Internet. Bill is an MCSE, CNE, and Support Professional, and has been with the Microsoft Platforms Support - Professional IP/RAS Team for over two years. Previous to that, he was a Networking Consultant.
