Session Summary

This Support WebCast is intended for those who are already familiar with Microsoft SQL Server merge replication. During this session, we will highlight a number of the new merge replication features that were added to SQL Server 2000. In addition to the highlights, this presentation will cover, in detail, the concurrent merge processing governor and metadata management features, which were designed to improve the consistency and performance of synchronization in a production environment.

This is a Level 200 session that was recorded April 26, 2001 and presented by Thomas Casey. Thomas Casey is the product unit manager for Microsoft SQL Server Replication. He was formerly the program manager in SQL Server Replication responsible for merge replication, since its introduction in SQL Server 7.0.
