Session Summary



During this presentation, we will discuss Windows error messages, their causes, and methods to troubleshoot them. We will review errors and troubleshooting methods in the following categories: Windows setup errors, Windows fatal exception errors, invalid page faults, application errors, hardware errors, and error recovery planning.

This is a Level 200 session that was recorded May 25, 2001 and presented by Charles Erwin. Charles Erwin joined Microsoft in October 2000 as a tier-two Support Professional. He has worked on both the Inet/Networking team and the Setup/Multimedia team. Charles started in support three years ago doing tier-one support for Windows 95 and Internet Explorer, and has also done customer support for a local Internet provider.
