and troubleshoot kernel-mode driver-based memory leaks that may occur on
Microsoft Windows 2000. We will review the process of using Performance Monitor
to first detect a kernel mode memory leak, and how to then dig deeper by using
a few debug utilities and Driver Verifier to identify the specific driver that
is leaking. This is a

Morales. Mike Morales has worked in Microsoft Product Support Services for two
years. He joined the Performance team in 1999 and became Technical Lead in
2000. Mike has supported Microsoft products since 1996, when he first worked
with Windows NT 3.51 in an Enterprise environment. Recently, Mike joined the
Debug team in Las Colinas, Texas and will be working on the IA64-Beta project
